Active researcher in theoretical nuclear physics and quantum physics, with a particular interest for nuclear astrophysics (nuclear reactions taking place in stars and during the Big Bang) and quantum physics foundations, Jean-Marc is Professor at the École Polytechnique de Bruxelles (ULB), Head of the Quantum Physics department and Vice-President of the Physics Engineering Curriculum Committee. In addition to his academic research activities, he's an amateur of music, dance and politics, with a special emphasis on political simplicity and education. By the bye, he's actively taking part to outreach activities and science popularization initiatives with the aim of spreading and sharing his scientific knowledge to the widest audience.
